NimbleCal is local-first. It works offline, and it syncs encrypted data across your devices when you're online.
These status messages show up as small banners when something needs your attention.
"Sync issue"
If you see a "Sync issue" banner, NimbleCal could not sync right now.
Common causes:
- You're offline (or on a flaky connection)
- The server had a temporary hiccup
- You signed out in another tab/device
Try this:
- Make sure you're online.
- Refresh the page.
- If you're on a new device, leave NimbleCal open for a minute so the first sync can finish.

Offline edits (Plus)
Offline viewing works for everyone.
If you're offline and try to create/edit/delete, NimbleCal may ask you to go online to enable Plus offline edits.
